An exciting opportunity for a Bar/Restaurant Manager has arose with my client based in Berwick:

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice on the menu and wine choices.
* Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety
* Stock taking, ordering supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
* Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
* Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
* Organise marketing activities, such as promotional event and discount schemes.
* Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week including staff, food control and sales
* Set budgets or agree with senior management
* Liaise with the kitchen
* Plan the rota for the kitchen/restaurant/bar staff
* Handling deliveries
* Keeping up to date on licencing legislation, liaising with the authorities etc.
* Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow
* Dealing with customers, in a high pressure environment
* Directly managing 2 bar/waiting staff
* Experience in Mixology
* Direct Manager for the Head Chef

This is a permanent position working 48 hours, working 5 days over 7 on a rota basis
