We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant, to join the team of a client based in the south Sheffield area. This is a fixed term contract for 6 months, offering full time hours and free, on-site parking.

You will need to be comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers on the telephone all aspect of office administration, so a friendly, professional and flexible manner is required.

Main Duties

* To Assist and support all members of the local finance and accounting department
* Preparation of daily sales information and distribution to the management team
* Preparing and posting of journals at month end
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Checking the sales representatives expense claims and credit card for processing
* Organising the company car administration
* Assisting with the monthly reporting and analysis to Europe during the month end
* reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
* Professionally meet and greet visitors at reception as required
* Participate in special projects as required
* General administration duties as required

Successful Candidate

* Good standard of education to GCSE/A Level obtaining grade C or above in Maths or equivalent
* Looking to start/currently studying AAT or equivalent
* Experience gained within a finance team desirable
