Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a enthusiastic Assistant Credit Controller for a large retail business in Sheffield on a temporary on going basis.

This role of Assistant Credit Controller will report to the Credit Manager and you will be working as part of an established team in assisting with collecting overdue payments and allocating to accounts in a timely fashion. The role will be both fast paced and highly target driven so able to work well under pressure is key for this role.

Assistant Credit Controller Duties & Responsibilities:

* Assisting in managing a portfolio of accounts to deliver target cash collection
* Looking after a high number of live accounts
* Assist in allocation of cash to accounts
* Actively pursue overdue debt
* Monitoring customer accounts
* Sending out customer statements and invoices
* Follow correct procedures and guidelines at all times
* Working to pre-agreed targets

To be successful you MUST have the following attributes:

* At least 1 year experience within a busy Credit Control environment
* Strong communication skills
* Target focused and driven
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Intelligent and Resilient
