Continental is an innovative transportation solutions provider with a growing international presence. They are now looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join their team.

If you have a proven track record of developing computer vision algorithms and strong MATLAB and C or C++ skills, this is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed.

Within an exciting environment, you will be given the freedom to bring your ideas to life and shape Continental’s future. Your role will consist of working on compelling projects alongside a team of innovators and your input will be encouraged and rewarded.

As an Algorithm Engineer, you will be tasked with developing the next generation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for Continental.

Specifically, you will research and develop 3D computer vision algorithms and deliver novel solutions to vision based processing problems, using MATLAB and C/C++.

You’ll focus on solving real world issues with moving cameras and objects, as well as improving and tuning algorithms using automated and live testing. Additionally, you’ll work closely with other team members across multiple sites.

To be considered, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience of developing computer vision algorithms for commercial applications
- Expertise in 3D reconstruction and structure from motion techniques
- Advanced MATLAB and C or C++ programming skills
- At a minimum, a first degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics or Physics, ideally a MSc or PhD

As an Algorithm Engineer, you will have excellent English communication skills, a team player mentality and strong problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of build systems and source control software would be beneficial, as would experience of automotive embedded systems. Previous experience of devices, such as TI DSPs and/or ARM processors would also be an advantage, as would fluency in German, in addition to English.

Please note, the closing date for applications is 17th June 2017.
