Are you looking to become a full time Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter within a Production/Manufacturing environment?

If so this may be the role for you!

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK we now require an Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance Team. The work environment is clean, warm and modern and offers a technically focused hands on role with variation including - projects, installations, maintenance and service.

We are looking for motivated skilled engineers, who wish to work in a automated production and manufacturing environment.

Salary: £32,000 rising to £34,000 after completion of 3 months
Hours/Shift: Working the first 3 months on Days until familiar with the team and manufacturing plant, then moving onto Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am and Fridays 6pm-midnight

Location: Market Harborough

Benefits: Pension, 30 days holiday, Training courses funded my the company, private healthcare

Background required: Must be mechanically qualified - ideally knowledge of working with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyors

Essential Skills required:

*Mechanical qualifications - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND or equivalents

Key responsibilities of the Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

*To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

*Provide technical mechanical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns


The ideal Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

* Time served apprenticeship
* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
* Mechanically competent at working with a range of mechanical applications such as: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyors, Motors, Pumps etc.

Training and opportunity:

The company offer specific machinery training.

They will fund training courses in order to help engineers develop

Working within first class modern purpose build manufacturing facilities with the latest equipment, we will be looking for future team leaders and supervises to progress within the maintenance team
