Nakamura mill turn machinist required.

A great opportunity for a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Machinist to work for large, well structured business who have sustained year on year growth becoming a leading supplier to the aerospace industry. We now require a competent Mill/Turn machinist to operate one of our Nakamura mill turn machines. This is a fast paced busy working environment, working with the latest technology and equipment available in precision and aerospace engineering. The Mill/Turn machinist will be working in a modern, professionally run environment within first class facilities.

Shift: Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 rotating weekly with early finish on a Friday

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour + overtime = earnings of £35,000 and upwards

Also Available: If wanted, you could incorporate a night shift to your pattern, making your night hourly rate between £14-£16.20

Overtime rates: Mon-Sat time ½ and Sundays Double time

Background required: Must have previous Mill/Turn Machining experience within a precision engineering environment. Ideally working with nakamura mill turn machinery.

The ideal Mill/Turn Machinist will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:

- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines - Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate
- Basic online editing skills
- Manual machining skills highly beneficial
- The desire to progress and use other CNC operated machinery
