IT Support Technician
Based at our client's site in Godalming
Salary - up to £28,000.00

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to be based at our Client's site, to support their growth. The IT Support Technician will be providing users with immediate access to 1st and 2nd Line support and a high first time fix rate and focus to each call.
You will be fielding IT support queries from users onsite and remotely, logging each call into a helpdesk system and working on them to resolution. You will be communicating regularly with end users and will therefore need to have great communication skills and ability to build rapport with a variety of individuals.
We are looking for someone who ideally has an 'A' level, NVQ or above qualification in IT. You will ideally have 2 or more years experience providing IT support in a similar role. MCP qualifications would also be advantageous.
You will also have knowledge of:
* Computer hardware including:
- memory upgrades
- replacement of disks
- video/sound and network cards
* Application support including Office 2010 - 2016
* Support of SharePoint document management (desirable but not essential)
* Mobile phone support
* Permissions changes
* Printer troubleshooting
* Patching of PC's and phones
* Server administrator
* New user set up
* Group Policy Management
* Backup monitoring and management
* Anti-virus software
* Asset tracking
