Business Development Executive / Junior Account Manager - IT
This a great opportunity for a Telesales, Lead Generator or Internal Account Manager / Junior Account Manager with telemarketing and /or cold calling, lead generation experience in B2B Technology sales to join the field-based new business team of a market leading Pan-European Cloud and Managed Services Provider. Targeting mid-sized UK companies with a turnover of up to £100M, you will self-generate leads and make appointments that you will have the opportunity to attend. In return you will receive extensive sales and product training and the opportunity to progress to more field based role. Circa £25k basic plus £10k bonus and benefits. Based in London.
This is a 100% lead generation role and candidates must have evidence of self-generating leads, building a pipeline and /or appointment setting. Ideally you will have some IT, Telecoms or related Technology sales experience (Cloud, SaaS, IaaS etc.), but candidates with the right acumen, attitude and ability to learn new products quickly with a passion/interest in Technology are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive include:
* Generate new leads via the telephone, email, LinkedIn, attending exhibitions and internet based research from a list of B2B target accounts.
* Build a prospect pipeline from a standing start via own initiatives, displaying high levels of self-sufficiency, targeting UK and US decision makers.
* Generate and attend appointments for field based sales people (Business Development Managers and Directors).
The Business Development Executive will have demonstrative experience of:
* At least 2 years B2B direct sales or Telesales/telemarketing within some form of Technology environment.
* Building a pipeline of opportunities and working in sales environments with KPIs / Targets.
* Evidence of hitting targets and a desire to learn new skills and technologies.
