Our client is a market leading pump and pump system manufacture for water supply and sewage disposal, who specialise in pumps and systems for heating, cooling and air-conditioning technology. Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to manage their regional sales department as part of an expanding workforce. The most suitable Regional Sales Manager will be based locally to Carlisle, and the sales patch that the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for will be the North of England.
The Regional Sales Manager will be expected to manage a team of 6 regional sales executives, including measuring KPI targets and leading monthly performance meetings. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts with merchants, distributors, suppliers, and wholesalers across the North of England, and will be attending client visits requiring nights away on occasion. This position would suit a sales director looking to expand their responsibilities.
The Regional Sales Manager must have previous field sales team management experience and possess excellent people management skills. They must also have a strong knowledge of the pumps/building services industry and have strong business to business sales experience. In-depth knowledge of the pumps, valve, plumbing, heating, and boiler industry would be advantageous.
