Great Customer Service Opportunity - Retail Banking

Customer Services Branch Assistant - Gillingham- good links to public transport plus free parking
Hours Monday to Friday 9-5
2 Saturdays per month (day off in the week) 9am - 4pm

£16000 - £18000 per annum, (Depending on experience) plus great benefits and career prospects!

Our client is a large retail bank and is looking to expand their customer services front line staffing team.

The role:

To provide a high standard of customer services, throughout all areas of the business
To consistently deliver a high degree of accuracy whilst administering branch processes and systems
Build relationships with new and existing customers via the promotion of new products and services
Respond to all enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrate a professional and courteous manner to each customer
Able to deal with any customer issues and complaints and be of a resilient character
Process all transactions and contribute to team targets

The ideal candidate would come from a banking background, either a front line role or a back office banking role with strong strong retail customer care experience

You must have a banking background and have excellent front line customer care skills with a professional manner
Solid work history for reference purposes
Have a high degree of IT literacy and able to pick up internal systems with ease
Ideally have GCSE grade C and above in English and Maths or equivalent.

* Discretionary Bonus Opportunity - up to 5% of basic salary

* Annual Leave Increment - 1 day per 2 years of completed service, up to a maximum of 28

* PHI - Covers 75% of basic salary payable on an on-going basis after 28 weeks continuous absence (applicable after 12m service)

* Eye Tests - Costs covered by company every 2 years plus £50 towards the cost of purchasing glasses if required for VDU work

As this is a financial company you must not have any CCJ's or IVA's and be able to be CRB cleared and referenced for 5 years.
