Cross-Class Insurance Technician
About the Role:
Provide technical support to various business units, assisting in the general development of technical documentation (ensuring compliance with any regulatory requirement) and processes.
·Maintaining Lloyd's Coverholder systems (Atlas, BAR, Lineage) ensuring information such as registration, annual compliance, professional indemnity and key staff details, for each binding authority, are kept up to date.
·Setting up Binding Authorities on Sector.
·Production and processing Premium bordereaux.
·Preparation of Premium Advice Notes (LPANs) closings and closing endorsements.
·Premium submissions via Xchanging for bulk closings and facultative business.
·Generating reports, statistical reporting and reconciliations.
·Preparation of renewal presentation packs, statistics and monthly risk bordereau for distribution to Underwriters.
·Preparation of endorsements for mid-term changes to binding authority and facultative placements.
·Raising payment requests (e.g. audit fees).
·Maintaining workbooks and other systems, including statistics and tracking workflow.
·Maintaining Technical files (physical and remote).
·Good knowledge and understanding of London Market processing requirements.
·FCA Compliance requirements.
·Money laundering legislation, sanctions, TCF and other similar regulatory requirements.
·Computer literacy to an intermediate/advanced level in Microsoft Office packages, in particular Microsoft Word/Excel.
·Working knowledge of relevant computer software such as Sector.
