Supported Living Manager – Young Adults Leaving Care - Crewe

Dove Resourcing is currently working in partnership with a specialist care provider working with children and young adults through to the age of 25, to find an experienced supported living manager for a service in the Manchester area.

This company provides a range of services and has developed excellent relationships with relevant local authorities. The organisation provides supported living to individuals requiring additional support to be able to lead independent lives in their own home. The individuals in the home are between the ages of 16 – 25 years.

You would be expected to;
• To lead the supported living provision.
• Ensure that all of the individual’s needs are met, and each individual has a support plan which reflects their needs.
• Adhere to the standards set in the Statement of Purpose and Fundamental Standards.
• Have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Establishing and maintaining a confident staffing team, who feel competent and motivated at all times.
• Offer guidance and support to staff.
• To work within the boundaries of the Mental Capacity Act.

It is essential that you hold an NVQ or QCF Level 3 – highly desirable that you will have a level 5 qualification or be currently working towards this.
It is also essential that you have extensive knowledge of CQC guidelines with a track record of working in services with good outcomes for its service users.

The Supported Living Support Worker will be working on a 1:2 shift pattern – you will be expected to complete sleep ins as part of the role which are paid at £31 per sleep completed.

Applications are subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks
Due to the nature of the work it is essential that all applicants have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.

The salary for a level 3 qualified applicant is £19,240 + sleep ins
The salary for a level 5 qualified applicant is £19,760 + sleep ins.
These positions are full time permanent job roles and are vacant immediately.
