We are currently looking for an experienced office furniture and partitioning fitter to manage installations for our client based in Ware.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have a minimum of 3-5 years experience fitting partitioning / office furniture, possess a strong technical background and have the ability to manage clients and subcontracted staff.

The role is focused upon organising and managing office furniture and partitioning installations, based from their Herts office and warehouse.

Role and Main Responsibilities

Management of small and large furniture & partitioning installations

Responsibility for warehouse management and completion of deliveries and installations

Attendance of client and site meetings when required

Liaising with contractors and clients to compile full logistical plans

Supervision and management of sub-contracted installation teams on site to ensure timely project completion

Deal with client, project managers and sub-contractors as necessary to ensure installation proceeds as planned

Prepare contract Risk Assessments and Method Statements where required

To ensure all works are undertaken in a professional manner - this includes the correct handling, protection and transportation of products

Troubleshooting and providing technical solutions to problems onsite

Work with our project management team to organise supplier deliveries and logistics

Ideal candidates should have:

A minimum 3-5 years experience in the partitioning and/or furniture sector

A professional, client focused attitude to completing installations

A strong technical background, ideally with carpentry / joinery experience

A CSCS Card / Registration

A full, clean UK driving licence

Good knowledge of London and Surrounding Counties

Experience and qualified to drive either a Luton Van or 7.5 Cargo Lorry.

The willingness to work overtime and frequently travel within the UK and Europe, often at short notice and weekends but this can be very rare when called upon

Good written and verbal communication / presentation skills;

Proficiency in basic computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project Software etc.)

Salary negotiable - Based on experience
