A global player in the commercial property and real estate service market have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director to join the team in Birmingham. Our client comes with a global reputation in commercial property consultancy with an expert knowledge of the U.K market. They have a track record of delivering numerous major development schemes across Britain, and have offices in a number of major cities.

The Director role has arisen due to the overall success of the business. They are looking to appoint someone who can hit the ground running and focus on accelerating growth within the business. You will need to be ambitious, motivated and keen to work autonomously and take on extra responsibility whilst also taking on an active part in key projects. The successful Director will provide exceptional advice on a range of planning topics to a variety of clients, therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have a fantastic working knowledge of planning legislation and a strong background in the delivery of projects with a particular focus in the residential sector.

Working in conjunction with the Senior Director you will immediately play an integral role in business development. You will have fantastic opportunities to enhance your career with the potential to develop a team of your own.

In return, the successful Director will receive an excellent base salary with a complete benefits package. Due to the rapid expansions plans of the business there will be clear chances to develop to a Senior Director Level pending satisfactory performance.

To apply, the successful Director will hold a degree and/or masters that is recognised by the RTPI. You will already be a full RTPI member with other accreditations being beneficial. Ideally, you will have over 10 years' previous planning experience within consultancy, covering all aspects of the planning process along with experience in mentoring, supporting and developing junior members of the planning team.
