Trainee IT Trainer
My client a forward-thinking and refreshing law firm has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic team player with a passion for training to join their busy and hands-on team as an IT & Service Support Trainer. Reporting into and working closely with the existing Service Support Lead Trainer you will receive excellent training and development support to take on responsibility for delivering training to the business, working with new starters and providing ongoing training for existing employees.
This is an excellent developmental opportunity to gain broad exposure while developing solid IT Training knowledge and would be very well suited to a self-motivated and engaging individual with exceptional interpersonal skills who’s ultimate goal is to become a highly credible IT Trainer. As such my client will support and fund professional qualifications including BCS and CIPD.
working closely with the Lead IT Trainer this is a highly visible, varied and hands-on opportunity where you will receive excellent support, training and development to identify areas of need alongside assisting the IT team to deliver new systems and upgrades. While this role will predominantly provide training, as a small, hands-on and close-knit team the successful candidate will also be expected to assist the Service Desk Engineers in responding to helpdesk queries. Therefore, strong team working, a flexible approach advanced systems knowledge, excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills with a huge emphasis on client service are essential! •Some exposure to Training within a Law firm or professional services environment
•Enthusiastic about learning - while you will be dealing with front end user issues you will also be expected to learn some of the background (not to be a technical expert) but to liaise with the technical members of the team to resolve any issues.
•A willingness to help users and members of the IT team to troubleshoot
•Confidence and presentation skills - training will be delivered in the traditional classroom set up but also one to one and sometimes over the phone.
•Strong team player - happy (and able) to work with the more technical members of the IT team to resolve issues.
