Our client are a very reputable voluntary organisation who have an amazing opportunity to appoint a Divisional Director (Initial 12 month contract) covering their North West division. This company have a remarkable reputation for delivering care of the highest quality and need a proven senior manager to join them.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the work within your division. Managing a team of Area Managers to provide clear vision, strategies, direction and support to your staff, whilst working in a way which is central to the values and culture of the organisation. Divisional Director - Key Responsibilities -

  • Ensure the Division contributes to the achievement and delivery of the Corporate Plan
  • Achieve divisional objectives in particular in relation to the quality of services provided and compliance with standards, financial and growth targets
  • Lead and develop the Divisional Management Team and support them to deliver high quality support services
  • Ensure that services provide safe and enabling support and that Teams at all levels are supported to deliver this
  • Ensuring Divisional and Organisational adherence to legal policy and contractual requirements including external bodies such as CQC
  • Develop sustainable new business throughout the division
  • Successfully implement the organisational change within the division

Divisional Director - Key Responsibilities -

  • Contribution to and achievement of the Corporate Plan and its objectives as a member of the Directors Team
  • Line management responsibility for the operational delivery of services including out of hours support
  • Adherence to corporate standards in all aspects of work and development of quality management in general
  • Ensuring that effective practice is implemented throughout the division
  • Lead on the development of new business within the division
  • Development and maintenance of a specialist area(s) of responsibility
  • Overall accountability for the financial viability of the division
