Finding ingenious and beautiful solutions for restaurants, bars, and hotels, as well as working with a number of high profile clients, they also work with architects and designers.

Working in partnership with our client we are proud to have been tasked with the assignment to find a Business Development Manager to work with their existing client base and prospecting potential new business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that has a global presence, results of years of honing the finest, most specific craftsmanship and design in furniture have kept their fingers on the pulse of the market.

Role overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and growing the existing client base by attracting new customers as well as retaining and growing existing ones. The role is responsible for dealing with Designers, Project Managers and Architects to meet the needs of clients. The Business Development Manager will also be instrumental in facilitating new business agreements, with a focus on qualifying quotes more thoroughly for a higher conversion rate.

The Business Development Manager will be networking, building relationships, and meeting with stakeholders in order to maximise accounts.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with existing and potential accounts
• Focusing on the commercial space of the business
• Qualifying quotes thoroughly and ensuring they are followed up
• Empower a collaborative environment within the team
• Build strong relationships with clients, Project Managers, Designers and Architects


• Credible, confident, able to look at the big picture and bring in solutions
• Credibility and track record in developing new business
• Substantial experience in both account management and new business
• Proven track record of repeat business with commercial customers and working on large projects
• Experience in dealing with Project Managers, Designers and Architects

- Sales mentoring and coaching experience is a big advantage

• Presentable, autonomous, and dynamic
