We have an excellent position for available for a Sales Manager based from our Glasgow hub, responsible for the delivery of company sales budget in Scotland via securing new and growing existing business within the Glasgow hub catchment area. The area covers a geographic area of whole Scotland to the A66 England. With a focus on central belt and up to Aberdeen

This is a full-time role 0800 to 1700hrs Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities;

ü Identify and convert new business

ü Increase margin & revenue of allocated accounts ( currently there are not many) via the development of strong relationships with the customers senior management teams, office and/ or site personnel where appropriate

ü Delivery of growth via successful gaining of targeted accounts via presentations, partnership agreements, office and site level account management

ü Work mainly autonomously and able to make own appointments & identify business opportunties

ü Achievement of budgeted sales

ü Ensure that all sales opportunities in Scotland are identified and converted into profitable sales revenue

ü Accurate regular maintenance of ‘Pipedrive’ CRM records

ü Develop business from agreed national accounts at a regional level

ü Planned and cold calling

ü Ensure effective planning maximizes best use of time

ü Liaison with work colleagues in depot/ field to maximize the potential revenue streams

ü To ensure as far as reasonably practicable, personal health & safety

ü Carry out professional site surveys and relay information accurately to customer & Operational team
ü Present competitive & cost effective solutions to customers through having detailed product knowledge and the ability to communicate competently and confidential from both technical and sales perspectives
ü Develop full understanding of individual products and services supplied by PE and legislation as required

ü Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events

ü Due to the nature of the position hours of work may extend beyond to fulfill the requirements of role

ü Reports to General Manager Sales

Competent levels of IT understanding
Knowledge of our routes to market & sold into
Electrical Theory/ Knowledge
Proven sales ability and demonstrable managed account growth experience
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability & demonstrable success with developing intimate customer relationships
Good communication skills both verbally & written
Demonstrable experience in selling products, solutions & services to end user
Demonstrable Self Time management
Excellent interpersonal skills
Confidence to work on own initiative
Capable of developing strong client relationships
High level of integrity and trust
A full UK Valid Driving licence is required
