To effectively monitor and manage the finances of the business. To provide support in all financial, payroll and other matters to support the effective ongoing management of the company.
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
Managing the staff in the finance department ensuring all deadlines are met in relation to finance and payroll routines
Maintain all insurances held by the company and review annually ensuring best value for money is obtained
- Ensure all annual contracts agreed with suppliers are recorded and kept securely, ensure that such contracts are renegotiated when due for renewal
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
- To coordinate ongoing fund raising or bid management to provide additional levels of income generation or funds for project improvements within the business
The successful candidate must be a part qualified / finalist accountant working towards an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). Strong IT skills including in particular Excel and Word.
£35,000 - £45,000 DOE
