£16,(Apply online only) per annumDue to the expansion of the business, we are looking for an additional I.T Helpdesk Technician to join our existing team.The Role
As our IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be responsible for providing IT support both over the phone and face to face. This will be on a variety of IT applications/systems for our employees both at Head Office and at our manufacturing and warehousing sites in Rochdale and Bury. You will be responsible for:
* Providing remote and on-site technical support assisting users with various IT issues;* Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting third party software products;* Installing new equipment such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones;* Supporting staff on the use of Windows and Office 365.
You will be required to travel between sites so a full UK drivers licence is an essential requirement.The Candidate
To be considered for our IT Helpdesk Technician, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience of diagnosing PC Hardware and operating systems* Be passionate about IT* Be self-motivated and able to manage a busy and varied workload* Be a team player* have strong communication and organisation skills* Have a courteous manner* Ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms to our employees* You must be educated to GCSE/A Level or similar* Preferably you will have at least 1 years' experience of helpdesk, call centre or service desk telephone experience although this is not essential
