Are you a General Practitioner looking for a new exciting opportunity in a vibrant city with great culture and amenities? The walk in centre is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced GP to join the team in a busy centre which is just a five minute walk from the city centre with good public transport links, the Walk In Centre deliver care to 70,000 patients per year from modern premises.

Main Duties and Job responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

- Provide support and advice to the clinical workforce and colleagues within the Group;
- Be accountable for operating within the clinical governance framework for the Group at all times, incorporating service users and carers, audit, guidelines and risk management;
- Act as an advocate for patients, nurses, colleagues and the group;
- Promote and deliver the |Group business model via the clinical strategy
- Ensure effective communication;
- Be committed to innovation and continual improvement. Encourage and support research and development;
- Promote inter-professional training and education with colleagues and Allied Health Professionals;
- Lead the recruitment and selection of all clinical staff at the site;
- Promote, develop and support colleagues entering Primary Care, linking with universities to embed strategic linkages and provide training opportunities where possible;
- As a clinician, provide patient focused, evidence based practice to a high standard;
- Act as an adviser and role model for all staff, the Group and external stakeholders; 

Qualifications and requirements;

- GMC Registration
- Entry on to National Performers list 
- MRCGP or equivalent
- Excellent level of English or accredited English language certifications e.g. IELTS 
- Completion of GP Training 
- Experience is desirable
- On-site parking
- 5 minute walk from the city centre
