Remuneration: £35,000 - £42,000 (Dep. on Experience) + £12k Annual Bonus (Uncapped)

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Commercial Heating Systems will involve:

• Selling a wide range of high quality gas boilers for commercial and light commercial application
• 50% of your time will be spent selling to end users such as M&E contractors and installers
• 35% of your time will be spent selling to and managing relationships with merchants
• Remaining 15% of your time will be spent generating specifications with and delivering CPD’s to M&E consultants
• Taking over a strong territory currently achieving around £700k turnover per annum with a target to get the patch up to £800k turnover
• Taking over approximately 200 accounts
• Approximately 70% of your sales time will be spent managing and expanding existing relationships
• Remaining 30% of your sales time will be spent generating new business relationships

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Commercial Heating Systems with:

• Must have a demonstrable track record in field based sales with heating or ventilation products such as: boilers, water heaters, hot water cylinders, pipework, plumbing systems, radiators, heating panels, natural ventilation or related products
• Ideally experience in selling to M&E consultants / contractors, installers or merchants
• Experience in securing commercial projects advantageous but not essential
• Or currently working for a plumbing and heating merchant looking to work for a manufacturer or in a field based sales role
• Capable of managing existing accounts and generating new relationships
• Able to manage and organise diary across a large volume of accounts
• Demonstrate excellent drive, determination, energy and ambition to succeed
