Legal Secretary (property or residential experience)
Salary: 19K – 21K + excellent benefits

The Role:
Objective to provide secretary and administrative support to fee-earners.

General Responsibilities:
• Carry out day to day secretarial duties as directed by the fee-earners
• Assist fee-earners with post, communications, time recording and advise on outstanding work
• Assist in the opening and closing of all files including the preparation of forms and paperwork necessary for the conduct of client files
• Liaise with clients on behalf of the fee-earners and this may involve taking instructions from clients
• Maintain an efficient Outlook diary system for fee-earners
• Assist fee-earners in managing the Client Ledger Account including the clearing and closing of accounts

Skills and Experience:
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fast and accurate audio typing
• Strong secretarial experience (qualifications helpful but not essential)
• Property experience – either commercial or residential
• Able to work well under pressure
• Outstanding organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use a document management system
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in respect of the client and the Firm
