Rullion has a fantastic 12 - 18 month contract based in Belfast for our highly prestigious client within the offshore wind farm construction sector.

JOB TITLE: PROJECT QUALITY ENGINEER

LOCATION: Belfast

SALARY/RATE AND BENEFITS: circa £30phr LTD

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To complete all project quality tasks and activities in line with project specific requirements and maintain compliance with the Company's systems in relation to the requirements of Quality (ISO 9001), and other related, certified systems. To manage Quality and Quality resources on a Project, to ensure an effective, efficient and professional approach is taken to all Quality matters.

To support a Project to meet all Quality System and Specification requirements through the regular monitoring, auditing and reporting of Quality performance, and the development of Project-specific plans, processes and procedures necessary to ensure compliance. To ensure that all Project Quality documentation is completed, and that an effective relationship is maintained with the Client.

Offshore Wind construction experience would be desirable.

KEY TASKS:
To maintain compliance with the requirements of the Company Quality Management System, Contract Specification and ISO 9001.

- Ensure that the Quality staff assigned to a Project operate in compliance with the Company's systems, and enforce compliance by them and all Project personnel in a systematic and consistent way

- Liaise and interface with the Client, suppliers and other third parties in relation to systems operations, including hosting audits and assessments.

- Monitor Project Quality performance, develop and present regular reports and analyses that will provide a basis for identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.

- To ensure that all Project Quality documentation is completed and submitted on time.

- Develop processes and procedures that ensure Projects meet the requirements of the Quality System, relevant standards and Specifications, and enable Project staff to carry out their roles and responsibilities effectively.

-To ensure Project suppliers are regularly audited in compliance with the requirements of the standards and the Company's systems.

- Liaise with Human Resource Department in relation to Inductions and Quality training arrangements for employees

- Carry out any other duty or task as reasonably assigned by their Senior Manager.
