Coffee Service Engineer Team Leader
Job title: Team Leader Southwest
Location: Bristol - Reading
Salary: £30,000 + 7.5% potential annual bonus and benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading name within the coffee/espresso machine industry. My client is a market leader in the manufacturing of professional coffee machines and due to growth, they are now looking to drive a best in class level of service. They are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Team Leader to drive and develop a team of service engineers in the south/Southwest area of the country.

Main duties and responsibilities:

* To be a leader of the team by spending time supporting, coaching and driving each team member to want to deliver a “best in class” level of service
* To act and lead, with and through the team, as an ambassador of the company
* To advocate and deliver effective, positive and efficient communication between the field teams and supporting team
* To constantly review the technical knowledge of both you and your team to ensure that the skill set is at the highest level possible and produce a development plan for each team member to continuously improve the technical understanding and reputation
* To conduct quarterly reviews with each team member and annual appraisals in a timely manner
* To deliver against team objectives and continuously review the team’s performance putting in place plans to ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements where appropriate
* To communicate with customers where appropriate and assess their needs and put plans in place to resolve any issues
* To work closely with the technical team to deliver efficiently any upgrades, enhancements or communications to the field team
* To benchmark and challenge our ways of working to ensure we are constantly pushing to give excellent customer service
* Review KPI’s for the team to ensure they are achieving expected performance levels

Job requirements

• Besides experienced technical knowledge and understanding of technical processes, the key
attributes required are:

o Coffee Competence (would be advantageous)

• To be included on a 1 in 7 weekend call rota paying £100 per day (which includes bank
holidays)
