One of the UK's leading manufacturers of high quality aggregate and paving products now urgently require a Maintenance Engineer to work as part of their highly motivated maintenance and manufacturing team.Alongside participation in the company’s stringent health & safety initiatives and active involvement in continuous improvement projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment runs smoothly providing preventative and reactive maintenance. Though primarily a mechanically biased role, previous electrical fault diagnostic experience would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will have:? Recognised qualification in either electrical or mechanical maintenance? Ideally 3 years’ experience of working within a manufacturing environment? Previous fault finding on PLC’s – ideally Siemens S7? Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and welding systems? Strong health & safety understanding? Conversant with using software to monitor and generate maintenance production data and breakdown reportsWorking a rotating days and nights shift our client are offering a salary of £34,000 with an OTE of c£40,000 plus paid overtime and a company pension.
