Motor Claims Handler
Barker Munro Recruitment are delighted to be working with this fast growing, dynamic insurance company who are currently looking for Motor Claims Handlers in their FNOL/Liability motor claims department.
The main job purpose of this role is to be the first point of contact for the policyholder who has suffered a loss following an incident involving their vehicle.
You must be able to obtain the relevant details from them and record this information giving the customer excellent advice and assistance, whilst also assessing liability from the circumstances of the incident.
As the motor claims handler you will be able to provide advice to the customer on making a claims and the processes involved. You will take reports of new insurance claims the policyholders, or from third parties, credit hire companies, insurers and solicitors whilst recording the information reported concerning the circumstances of the loss.
These are just a few of the duties of the motor claims handler.
To be successful in the above role you will ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience of handling motor claims, ideally within a First Notification of Loss (FNOL) or Liability role.
