Chef de Partie - Country Manor Hotel - Fresh Food - up to 19k
My client has a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef who is ready for a step up or a current Chef de Partie looking for a new challenge in their stunning Hotel with extensive wedding, conference and banqueting facilities in the Coventry Area.
The client is looking to recruit Chef De Partie's too support the head and Sous chef in the day to day running of the kitchen and to join a friendly kitchen team. All of the food is freshly prepared on site and the menu changes often, working with the freshest of ingredients.
You'll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will generally be given responsibility to look after a particular section with the help of other chefs. On a daily basis you'll be supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in a range of duties including fresh food preparation and cooking as well as undertaking kitchen management duties including ordering, stock control and ensuring food safety and cleaning standards are met.
As Chef de Partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: -
·Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.
·Creativity and idea's towards the industry
· Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
·Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Chef de Partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: -
· Carrying out Chef de Partie duties in a professional and credible manner.
· Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
·Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
My client is offering a fantastic salary up to £19,000 per annum + tipS
