Support Worker (Charity / Learning Disabilities)

Affinity Trust is a national charity dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised support to adults with learning disabilities. 

Position: Support Worker 
Location: Farnham, Surrey 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 per week 
Salary: £7.77 per hour 
Benefits: 28 days annual leave (increasing with service) inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff), contributory pension scheme, excellent training and development opportunities, childcare vouchers, employee assistance scheme and occupational health support.

About the Role: 

On a daily basis we empower people to meet their aspirations and goals in life, and to live as independently as they wish. 

In this role you will be working in a Supported Living service, supporting a gentleman with mild learning disabilities and mental health needs both within his home and out in the community, enjoying a variety of social activities. 

For this role you need to be patient, have good sense of humour and be able to support people through good and bad days. They are looking for people who are committed to supporting the people they work with who are honest and reliable, who can be creative and flexible in their approach, enhancing peoples opportunities to grow and develop. 

They always base our support on the specific needs, choices and aspirations of the individual following our principles of person-centred support.
