Project Monitor - Consultancy - MRICS
An International Commercial Real Estate Company based in the West End are seeking an MRICs qualified Project Monitor to join its Project Management team to deliver multi million pound projects for their Blue Chip clients.
The team specialises in monitoring and technical due diligence for Funder and Investor clients and third parties with an interest in development. Their experience extends across all property sectors and lot sizes from £1m to hundreds of millions of pounds. Active and target client include Banks, Funders and Investors as well as some tenant work.
The team now requires dynamic ambitious individuals looking for a new challenge, who can play a key role in the team development. The role will focus on product delivery, which will offer significant client and senior development team exposure, and the opportunity to get involved in a broad variety of developments. Day to day tasks will involve attending site meetings and carrying out inspections, assessment of third party information, and writing summary reports; liaising with third party teams and briefing clients on status, risks and mitigation against best practice and industry norms. The role is that of a facilitator, providing transparency and professional opinion on risks and mitigation's.
The role requires a technically proficient individual with a desire to gain a deep understanding of the full development cycle (from site acquisition to post completion), and someone who wishes to be fully involved in client and developer relationship management, and take an active role in business development.
The monitoring role provides exposure to the full development cycle, and funding market, with a varied workload in a supportive team environment where autonomous working and time management are also crucial.
The suitable candidate shall come from a professional degree, such as Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Project Management and have completed their APC or equivalent, having technical due diligence on development and agreements for lease is also advantageous. Experience working with JCT contracts and the full development process.
Our client is seeking candidates from one year PQE through to Associate Director and shall pay market rate for each level plus a good package and benefits.
