Paraplanner – Lewes East Sussex

We are recruiting for an experience Paraplanner to work for a Wealth Management business based in Lewes, East Sussex. This role is full time permanent role. You need to be experienced of working as a paraplanner and be qualified to Level 4 to be considered for this role.

Role responsibilities include:

Preparing and maintaining client files
To collate all the quantitative detailed information required to support any recommendations to be made
To ensure all relevant paperwork held within a client file is present, relevant and compliant
Discuss client objectives with the adviser
Ensure all appropriate ‘know your client’ information has been obtained and can be demonstrated within the relevant client file
Prepare recommendations
Identify and discuss areas for planning with the adviser
Undertake relevant research to identify suitable solutions to meet a client’s specific objectives
Prepare relevant documentation and comparisons ready to be reviewed
Prepare draft suitability reports to be discussed and signed
Implement recommendations
Prepare suitability reports in accordance with the agreed recommendation(s)
Complete applications or proposal forms

Knowledge
Knowledge of the FCA’s and the firm’s record keeping requirements.
Knowledge of the following software packages: Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner,
FE Analytics, Defaqto Avelo Exchange, Deposit Sense, Word, Excel.
Knowledge of various Wraps and Platforms.

This role requires all or many of the following attributes:

The requisite technical knowledge and qualification. Minimum Level 4 Qualified.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s compliance procedures including record keeping requirements
Dealing with clients in a compliant manner as detailed within the firm’s compliance manual and procedures
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good report writing skills.
Good methodical and organisational skills.
Computer literacy and good typing skills.
Accurate with good attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits:

The basic salary for this full time role is £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension Scheme
