My client is a leading Insurance Broker. They are looking for a Key Account Manager to work in their Derby Office.

Job Summary: Administration of Enterprise client’s insurance requirements on a daily basis. This includes administration of renewal, associated endorsements, obtaining quotations, claims handling and accounting procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Distribution of post and associated mail items within office
 Renewal case management for Enterprise Dept and others as appropriate
 Distribution of diary items
 Dealing with incoming queries from customers, insurers and other third parties
 Administration of renewal documentation, renewal quotations, MTA’s, claims and accounting procedures
 Oral and written communications to clients, insurers and other Third parties
 Negotiation of selected renewals.
 Action of all personal communications i.e. verbal conversations, Emails etc
 Inputting data onto relevant systems
 Use of Insight system to transmit information to insurers and then issue relevant documentation to clients

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Insight
 Effective communicator both oral and written
 Effective interpersonal skills
 Ability to work under own initiative prioritise effectively and deal with complex underwriting, claims and accounting entries
 Thorough working knowledge of the insurance market industry with specific knowledge of the SPP & OMP panel insurers and their associated products, services and handling procedures in addition to specific self write schemes available in Enterprise
 Ability to understand customers needs effectively
 In depth understanding of clients
 Business acumen
 Ability to build effective business relationships
 Ability to learn and manage change quickly and effectively
