An exciting opportunity for a Head chef has arose with my client based in Berwick:

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Managing 1 Sous Chef, 2 Kitchen Porters and 2 Dishwashers
* Ability to manage and run own kitchen
* Experience in monitoring GP levels on a weekly basis, cost's, sales etc.
* Creating and planning menus
* Leading the kitchen team to deliver menu items in a timely manner
* Strict management of waste control
* Meticulous health and safety standards
* Ordering stock
* Assisting with recruitment and training
* Driving Customer satisfaction levels through food production
* Exceptional organisation skills
* Previous experience working within a fast paced kitchen
* Precious experience cooking/working with an Italian Menu
* Stock and Budget Control
* Excellent people, management and communication skills

This is a permanent position working 48 hours, working 5 days over 7 on a rota basis and reporting directly into the bar/restaurant Manager
