Job Title: Retail Sales Development Manager - Central London

Department: Retail Division

Location: Field based within London

Working hours: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days / full flexible

Report to: Retail Operations Manager

Responsible for: Brand employees at High End Department Stores- flexible required for new store openings

Work in conjunction with: Training, UK Sales, Retail Marketing and PR Departments


Main purpose of the Job:

To be responsible for recruiting and building a dynamic and exceptional Retail Team.

To manage, lead, motivate and develop a professional, competitive and creative team.

To actively participate and play an integral part in the ongoing development of the Retail Division, building structure and acquisition, role out and development of new retail sites.

To ensure that the sales targets set by the Company for the Retail Division are exceeded by the formulation of short, mid and long-term targets and goals in agreement with the Managing Director/Director of Treatment, Product and Training Development.

Develop key account management approach with retailer buying and marketing teams to ensure Brand maximizes all sales and marketing opportunities.

Maximise treatment activation and occupancy for Brand via consultation and treatment programs through spa bar workshops, Spa pods, and treatment rooms (where applicable).

Ensure strong visual brand presence in retail, maximise brand experience and promotional activation opportunities. Ensure promotional activation is executed in all stores supporting our main key flagship stores.

To promote the benefits of the brand, the training and PR support given by the Company, and the high quality and integrity of Brand products to potential and existing retail stores.

Carry out all your responsibilities professionally, efficiency and effectiveness with honesty and customer enthusiasm at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

To support with the roll out of new doors, launch presentation to Store Management and assist in merchandising and sell through of launch.

To report weekly - Retail Sales Performance to Target; Sell through of Promotional and Key Lines; and Activity Report and Rankings.

To complete weekly Journey and Training reports

Drive CRM strategy in retail, managing robust data collection, and creating comprehensive brand campaigns to support the marketing calendar and driving customers to retail.

To arrange Regional Meetings every quarter.

To ensure that the Retail Team are fully briefed as to their function, responsibilities and accountabilities.

Spend a minimum average 50% of your time visiting the retail stores (equally) to provide the necessary support to the team, assess performance, identify problems or opportunities and analyse sales revenues effectively.

To ensure merchandise is clean, effective and promoting current activities.

Collate all store sales information and figures, analyse against projected targets and present to senior management by the required deadlines

Build lasting relationships with stores and buyers in order to maximise sales and promotions opportunities, discussing sales performance with stores management team.

With the support of your senior team members, identify and maximise opportunities in due course with regard to in house promotions, events, window displays etc.

To be an integral part in the planning of individual/seasonal/national promotional events by forward planning and developing the structure and focus of the event to ensure the targeting of appropriate clientele and to maximise sales opportunities.

Keep abreast of key competitor launches, GWP and marketing activities with retailers to ensure we are at the forefront of competitive intelligence and communicate this internally.

To be proactive and aware of new products and brands to be made available within stores and highlight these to senior management.

To be well informed regarding developments within existing brands in the health and beauty market and to highlight these to senior management.

To contribute to ideas about the development of the brand and promotional initiatives.
