Job Title: Telemarketer
Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: Basic £18,000 + Comission

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to join their team to generate leads either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced office fit-out environment. The Telemarketer will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to engage with the company for upcoming fit-out projects.

The successful telemarketer should be friendly and persuasive, and be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and convince leads to engage in an appointment with our sales specialist. The ideal candidate must be patient, resilient and able to motivate themselves to hit targets.

Further responsibilities of the Telemarketer include but are not limited to:

  • Cold call qualified leads to establish their receptiveness for engaging with the company for office fit-out projects
  • Work in line with expected performance targets
  • Arrange fact finding phone appointments with the sales specialist
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Use scripts to provide a consistent message to identified leads
  • Assist in the creation and upgrading of scripts when required
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s fit-out requirements
  • Persuade the customer to engage with the company
  • Record the customer’s personal information accurately in their CRM system
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet weekly targets
  • Partake in weekly sales and marketing meetings to address current performance and challenges

The successful candidate:

  • Proven experience as telemarketer in a performance driven telemarketing company
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales/appointment quotas over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good typing skills, enabling you to capture information during a discussion
  • Proficient in English
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection
  • Lively, enthusiastic personality

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday: - 8am - 5pm.
