About the Role

Ash Grange is a Primary School with a Children’s Centre, Pre School and Nursery, serving a rich and diverse community. 

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team starting in September. 

Required attributes are excellent numeracy and literacy, a good general education, experience and understanding of working with children, resilience, enthusiasm and a team player. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Enthusiasm and a determination to make a difference to pupils progress and development
  • The ability to support the pupils through the delivery of specific learning programmes and their ability to work as part of team as well as through their own initiative
  • Good English and Maths skills/knowledge (GCSE Equivalent)
  • Good IT skills/knowledge
  • High expectations of themselves and the children they work with including promoting independence where possible 

The hours are 32.5hr/week, term time only (39 weeks), Monday to Friday 8.30 to 3.45pm. The salary is Surrey Pay S4 £16,737 - £19,580 (pro rata £12,880 - £15,068). This is a permanent contract.
