REPROGRAPHICS AND IGEN OPERATOR MONDAY - FRIDAY 2PM - 11PM

£31,000 - 33,500

My client is looking for a reprographics and IGEN Operator to join their busy team

The position is working 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri 2pm to 11pm

Working in a busy production environment the main purpose of this role is to support the day to day running of the operation and support all functions of reprographics. The successful candidate will ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and professionally, liaising with customers as required. Experience within a high-volume reprographics environment is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

·To ensure provision of excellent Customer Service always to all clients, in answering the phone, dealing with e-mails or in face to face communications.

·To produce finished documents to client's specification as instructed on Job requisition forms, working within the required processes.

·To ensure all documents have been quality checked prior to completion and to support the quality checking of your colleagues work.

·To assist in the printing and finishing of all reprographic requests.

·To be able to provide scanning support as necessary and any additional general work duties.

·To complete any administration required to comply with process and procedures.

·To assist your colleagues in maintaining departmental housekeeping inclusive of store rooms.

Role Specific Duties:

·Assist with the prioritisation of jobs at all stages of the process in all areas of our work.

·To ensure all proofing and quality checking processes are followed.

·Ensure that all work is treated as confidential and handled in a sensitive manner as per internal security processes.

·Assess your own workload and set priorities where required, working to or exceeding expected standards and ensuring problems are escalated to your line supervisor/manager.

·Monitor stock levels in the department and storage areas and request replenishment in accord with process.

·Monitor and ensure completion of the required administration, ensuring all systems/ tools are utilised and updated within required processes.

·Printing, Scanning and Finishing of all jobs handed to you within the expected timeframes.

·Despatch as required.

·Ensure the working environment is clean tidy and free of hazards.

·Ensure any Health & Safety issues are reported immediately.

Knowledge and Experience:

·Solid experience in a similar role essential (preferably a professional services firm).

·Must be flexible with working hours.

·Good level of IT skills.

·Good oral and written communication skills.

·Good administration and organisational skills.

·Must possess good customer service skills.

·Ability to work as part of a team.

·Helpful and willing "can do" attitude.

·Degree of physical fitness is essential as role may require lifting.

Technical background:

·High level of operational knowledge of Xerox iGen 4, Versant 2100 & 80, Nuvera 120, and assorted large format hardware.

·Network and file transfer protocols.

·Free Flow, Make Ready, Fiery EFI Caldera wide format software and composition software.

·Able to provide document finishing for production of booklets, bound documents, posters, foam-board printing & mounting, crease & folding, pull-up banners & business cards.

·All Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat professional, Caldera Rip and other publishing applications, Xerox Free flow & Process Manager.

·Database management.
