Technical Services Manager

£25,000 - 30,000 Basic DOA


40 Hours per week - Mon to Friday

We are currently working alongside a Telecommunications company in Stockport as they are currently looking for a Technical Services Manager to assist their Team.

The role will be providing technical knowledge supporting customers and the Sales team and manage the in-office Customer Service team, the role will be split roughly 50/50.

As this is a Technical role there will be specific knowledge required for the successful person, but please note this is not a Telecommunications Engineering role.

Key responsibilities of the Technical Services Manager:

* Coordinating and overseeing the day to day activities of the technical support team in the office. Ensuring the SLA' and quality is met consistently.
* Providing technical support / advice to customers and taking control of any necessary escalations.
* Monthly 121 reviews with the support team.
* Managing resource levels and planning workloads/absences
* Helping the teams within the business work together
* Support the Sales teams where necessary
* Liaise with management and assist with ideas and analysing performance and trends

Key skills required:

* Ability to build relationship with colleagues and customers alike
* Team leadership
* Ability to prioritise workload and results driven
* Knowledge of IP telephony and fixed line
* (Gamma) Hosted Telephone Systems and PBX
* Internet connectivity
