Advanced Nurse Practitioner | Birmingham

We are currently working with a leading provider of Community Services in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a number of Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) for their Walk-in centres in the area due to expansion.

Essential skills and experience

- Current NMC registration

- Experience in a senior role

- Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to meet service user needs

- Ability to record information accurately and in a timely manner

- Demonstrable experience in the provision of high quality care

- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

- Appreciation of, and adherence to, the NMC Code of Conduct (2015)

- Administration, storage and disposal of medicines in line with the NMC Code of Conduct (2015)

- V300 Non-medical prescribing qualification

- Experience (and ideally a qualification) in minor injuries

- An appreciation of legislative issues surrounding care (e.g. Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act) and the importance of the regulatory body

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team

- Utilises resources to provide up-to-date evidence based practice

- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

- The ability to liaise with a multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary team

- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a heavy workload effectively

- The ability to plan and prioritise work and time effectively using own initiative

- Resilience when working in a challenging and complex environment
