Project Manager – Manchester - £50,000-£60,000

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join Global organisation. As a project manager you will be joining a business that operates in over 80 different countries, serving millions of customers worldwide.


The Project – Manchester Airport Hydrant Transformation.


You will be responsible for a project team tasked with the phased construction of the new aviation fuel hydrant and associated works. The role requires direct management of a multi-disciplined team and multiple interfaces.  A Project Manager with strong PM skills, with proven delivery on a UK based project is required.

Job Responsibilities

- Managing project from define to hand-over
- Liaise with stakeholders, project budget, cost control, site surveyors and procurement contractors.
- Lead a project team to set project process
- Manage Airport stakeholders and Joint venture stakeholders
- Ensure project is executed in line with aviation standards and guidelines.

Essential Experience

- 8-10yrs experience – Project management, with proven UK based delivery
- Strong knowledge of industry: pipe fitting, pipeline construction, oil and gas, downstream or Pharmaceutical
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills


- Degree qualified – preferable engineering discipline

- Chartered engineer – desirable not essential
