I am currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join a leading independent invoice finance company to lead and develop the operations team to ensure effective management of all operational procedures including risk management and making a valuable contribution to company profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• To maintain and uphold the highest standards of customer service
• Lead, coach, mentor and monitor the Operations team, building the team through recruitment and succession planning
• To underwrite and fund business in line with the company risk framework, reporting any concerns to Group Risk Director.
• Implement/maintain strong internal controls to coincide with group audit requirements and review regularly
• Complete/deliver reports/budgets effectively and within timescales.
• Implement/promote and review local business plan, though regular meetings and reporting.
• Continually review key performance indicators, taking necessary action where required, to meet requirements
• Maintain relationships, both internal and external. Meeting clients/introducers and other business partners where required, promoting the company brand.
• To attend/chair meetings, both internal and within the Group.
• To be involved in/delegate involvement for group projects.
• To ensure Operations assist in the Sales process, where required, providing a smooth and efficient take on process, without any adverse effect on risk.

Key Skills:
• Maintain high level professional conduct with internal and external customers via face to face, on the phone, on email and through written communications.
• Provides others with direction, sets appropriate objectives, motivates and empowers
• Establishes rapport with colleagues, external customers and networks
• Keeps up to date with business and market trends
• Manage team to complete day to day tasks, monitor staff performance in line with KPIs, maintains HR procedures
• Analyses numerical and verbal data, probes for further information
• Clear Understanding of Operational Procedure & Risk

Requirements of the role:
• Invoice Finance industry experience
• Proven experience of managing risk issues
• Team Management
• Skills- excellent communication, dynamic leadership, understanding of operations and risk procedures, strategic thinking, presentations skills
