Senior Quantity Surveyor - Bishops Stortford - £60,000-£72,000 + full benefits package

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience within large residential projects? Are you able to commute to multiple sites including Cambridge and Essex locations.

If the answer is yes, please read on as we currently have the pleasure in supporting this leading residential contractor in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Working on large scale quality developments our client are seeking someone capable of progressing within the business with a focus on delivery.

Responsibilities of the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Working closely with tender and bid teams
* Advising on contracts and negotiations
* Ensure the project and programme targets are met
* Maintain and coordinate all commercial reports required
* Ensure all subcontract issues are resolved
* Take responsibility regarding health, safety and the environment
* Managing/agreeing valuations/variations
* Managing and negotiating with subcontractors
* Procuring subcontractors
* Cash flow forecasts

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Have a degree in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)
* Show longevity to previous employers
* Be working towards or hold RICS / CIOB professional membership
* Be commercially astute and have a keen eye for detail
