Senior Estimator - Rail - West London - £70k - 80k + Package - Main Contractor

My client, an established tier one nationwide civil engineering contractor, arguably one of the most well known are looking to bring in an established Estimator to work within their team. There is a healthy order book to get stuck in to with projects ranging from £50 Million - £500 Million.

This is an opportunity for an estimator who is at the height of their career. My client requires a candidate who is incredibly skilled and has proven experience.

Please see below typical duties that will be included within the role but not limited to:

* Working closely with the bid team

* Preparing tenders

* Breakdown client enquiries

* Measure/Assess quantities and prepare schedules if required

* Pricing work under various forms of contract, including traditional NEC, Target Cost, Design & Build

* Tender presentations

* Supporting contracts managers with variations and final accounts

Skills required:

* Degree level qualified or the equivalent in a civil engineering discipline

*Chartership is desirable

* 5 years+ experience working for a major civils contractor, pricing medium to large value civil engineering works

*Knowledge of various forms of contract

* Good Communication skills, not only with fellow team members but with outside connections

* Knowledge of CCS Estimating system is desirable, training is available however

* Full driving licence
