Our client is a highly successful international software company. They are looking for an experienced Appointment Setter that has a proven work record in Sales from lead generation through to closing a deal and all admin that supports that. You will be required to contact key individuals to promote software products with a view to arranging an appointment for the Sales Managers to pitch face to face with the client so confidence in selling on the phone is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities for Appointment Setter

Arrange appointments for the sales team through cold calling to potential customers.
Generate Sales leads via the internet, recommendations, etc.
To contact potential customers and present the companies software products and services in order to maximise sales. • To carry out market research to identify new markets and business opportunities. • To interface with clients and to support the business development & sales team. • To provide administrative support as required. • Achievement of telephone cold-calling targets for Retailers in the UK. • Compliance with all existing company systems, procedures and work practices. • Establishing of excellent interpersonal relationships with prospective clients. • You are responsible for keeping up to date records and sourcing new clients. • Cold-calling by telephone, identifying and contacting numerous potential clients daily • Carrying out extensive research via internet and any other methods to identify new markets and business opportunities • Managing a sales database, ensuring all calls are logged accurately, including contact details and any follow up dates or other action required • Assisting with the administration for managing existing accounts • Identifying sales opportunities and leads • Arranging meetings for the sales manager with potential customers to prospect for new business • Gaining a clear understanding of our customers' businesses and requirements • Assisting the sales manager with the completion of tender documents
Skills Required for Appointment Setter • Sales experience with fashion/retail clients or general merchandising sales experience.

Good telephone sales background with experience of arranging appointments for Sales Managers / Directors
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Knowledge of selling to retail clients
Excellent negotiating skills
