Our client has a permanent vacancy based in Barrow in Furness for an Insurance Coordinator/Customer Care Assistant.

The role is not customer facing, but will involve dealing with customers on the telephone. The role focuses on Insurance and Complaint handling.

Job Spec:
An opportunity has arisen for a confident and enthusiastic individual who is looking to further their career. You will be highly motivated and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have the ability to work flexibly whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Training will be provided.

The main duties include:

• Acting as a complaint handler.
• Handle administration of homecare and mortgage payment protection insurance products.
• Balance monthly insurer accounts.
• Deal with customer enquiries relating to household and mortgage payment protection insurance products.
• Assist with the management of Corporate Insurance policies.
• Achieving and maintaining regulatory and legal compliance.
• Manage customer complaints quickly and effectively in line with regulatory requirements.
• Centrally record complaints information.
