Catering Supervisor – Newcastle - £11.02 per hour, 35 hours per week

Our client is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to manage the catering team in the provision of food and beverages to customer`s and staff of a care home. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the annual catering budget

Requirements for being a Catering Supervisor

- Senior catering experience, including managing a team, budgets, menu planning
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures including COSHH, HACCP
- Be able to keep accurate records, work to deadlines and motivate your team
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- First Aid and recognised catering qualifications would be advantageous

Responsibilities as a Catering Supervisor

- Responsible for a high quality, cost effective catering service
- Performance monitoring
- Menu planning
- Maintain an awareness of individual customer risk assessments relating to specific catering support needs
- Ensuring kitchen is compliant with Environmental Health regulations
- Ensure and oversee all agreed staff training requirements are delivered
- Rota and monitoring staffing budgets
