Are you a skilled or semi skilled production operative looking for a new position within a newly formed team? Are you motivated by producing high quality products whilst working at pace with a niche and prestigious product? Have you got experience of working with measurements, angles, and drawings whereby you can read , understand and create a high end product? If yes, then this opportunity could be exactly what you are looking for.

I am working with a client who is wanting to engage new people into a recently formed team who will be looking after one of their prestigious products. You will need to be very well motivated and have the ambition and desire to strive to achieve the highest quality product at all times.

*Working hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime available on a regular basis

This newly formed team has been created within an existing team to further drive the manufacturing of a high end and high quality product. You will be part of this new team, working on one of the clients prestigious products within their much wider range. The ideal experience I am looking for is a minimum of 2 years of working within a job where you have read and understood drawings and then used this information to manufacture a product. Ideal back grounds would be carpentry, joinery, window, door or conservatory manufacturing or a similar product. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of or have experience of;
*Reading and understanding basic angles and mathematics on drawings
*Use of hand tools
*CNC machines
*Welding
*Problem seeking and solution finding

You will be manufacturing units and frames within this position and will have full autonomy of your work once fully trained. You will need to be able to demonstrate;
*Ability to work with minimal supervision
*High quality of work ethic and standards
*Ability to work within a team and alone
*Reliability and commitment to the job and your team
*Desire to manufacture a high quality product that will represent the company as expected

You will be standing for long periods of time in this role and working in a very hands on environment. Although you will never be expected to lift unreasonable weights, you will be required to move stock and products on a daily basis, and should be in suitable physical health to do so.

You will be required to attend a first interview with myself, then a face to face interview with the client. At the client interview, you will be given a tour of the shop floor and will be shown some examples of the work. You will also be given some basic assessments on reading drawings and calculating angles, however this should not put you off if you are a practical "hands on " person.
