Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant for a Accountancy Practice based in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is keen to further their career and gain experience within the Finance industry.

This an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking company which invests in the development and well being of their employees. They are seeking somebody with the ability to grow in the role in order to progress into other areas of accounts in the future. You will have an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally. You will be happy working alone and within a team.

Duties will include:

- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger duties and Credit Control
- Running monthly statements
- Assisting with month end processes and producing monthly reports
- Daily banking
- Credit Control and cash allocation to accounts
- Assisting with updating the cashbook
- Answering telephone and handling/directing queries
- Ad-hoc financial and administrative duties as requested

Skills Required:

- c12 months experience within a Finance Team
- Good attention to detail
- IT literate with strong excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
