Our Client, A family-owned and run business established in 1971 and based in Bexleyhealth. Its core business is the supply of healthcare related products to Community Pharmacies. The mission is to make great brand accessible to the independent retailer. The company has grown successfully in a tough marketplace by providing innovative service solutions to independent Pharmacists and larger groups, based on a platform of a reliable delivery of quality products at competitive price. stock lines for immediate delivery and some 20,000 products in our catalogue we are one of the largest independent stockists for this market in the UK.

Another person is required to fit into our small closely knit team because we wish to diversify our offering to other niche health, beauty and leisure markets. Full training and development provided.

The Purpose of the role:
The role is help secure 1000 clients for our Sale or Return Adult Impulse Purchase stands. These racks come pre-loaded with a selected range of products known to sell themselves in the right outlets.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of selling products over the phone, ideally within the health, beauty care or leisure industries. They will be a bright ambitious sales person looking for a new challenge with plenty of drive, energy, be self-motivated and well presented. They will have a track-record of developing relationships and growing accounts over time increasing sales growth and profitability in line with company strategy.

Responsibilities:
♣ Contact potential or existing customers to ask them questions relating to relevant needs and recommend our retail ready solutions using agreed scripts and propositions
♣ Proactively follow up leads generated from marketing and other company activities
♣ Answer questions about products or the company
♣ Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
♣ Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
♣ Enter and update prospect and customer information accurately in the database
♣ Take and process orders in an accurate manner
♣ Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
♣ Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
♣ Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Requirements:
♣ Proven experience as telesales representative of at least 1-2 years
♣ Proven record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
♣ Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
♣ Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
♣ Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
♣ Excellent communication, listening, questioning and interpersonal skills
♣ Polite, friendly, cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
♣ Outstanding negotiation skills to secure commercial terms within the set guidelines
♣ Shy, retiring types need not apply! You need to have plenty of confidence to be a successful telephone sales executive as a charming and persuasive personality will help you sell.
