We are currently recruiting for a well known business based in Sheffield in their search for an Accounts Assistant. The role is on a fixed term contract for 6-9 months on a full time basis.

Duties will include:

*Preparing daily sales information and distribution to the management team
*Preparing and posting of journals at month end
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Inter-company netting process
*Intrastat & EC Sales submission
*Reconciling of Balance Sheet accounts
*Internal reporting and analysis of monthly results
*Providing support to the department with general administration and ad-hoc duties
*Providing excellent customer service, over the telephone and in person answering standard queries for internal and external customers

To be considered for this role you must:
Have a minimum 12 months experience working in an accounts position
Be in the initial stages of studying AAT
Have obtained a minimum GCSE C in Maths
Have excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
Be available at short notice
Have excellent communication skills
